Terms of service
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of Botlight, run by the operator of Botlight in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the free grader you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
The service
Botlight connects to your Webflow site, generates llms.txt and llms-full.txt files from your published content, keeps them updated when you publish, and hosts them at a public URL. It also offers a free tool that scores how readable a website is to AI assistants.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract, and give us a working email address.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for having the right to connect the Webflow sites you import.
- Tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
Plans and payment
- The Free plan includes 1 site with manual syncing. Pro costs $12/month and includes up to 10 sites, auto-sync on Publish and optional AI enhancement. Limits and features may change; we will not reduce what a paid period already includes.
- Pro is billed monthly in advance by Stripe and renews automatically until you cancel. Prices include any taxes shown at checkout.
- You can cancel at any time on the Billing page. Pro then stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We do not give partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires.
- If a payment fails we may retry it and, if it stays unpaid, move your account to the Free plan.
- If you are a consumer you may have statutory rights that these terms do not limit.
Acceptable use
Do not use Botlight to:
- break the law, or infringe other people's rights;
- connect sites you do not own or have permission to manage;
- overload, probe or attack the service, or bypass rate limits and plan limits;
- use the free grader to scan sites at scale or to gather data for resale.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your content and ours
Your site content stays yours. You give us permission to read it through Webflow, process it (including, if you turn it on, with an AI provider) and publish the generated files at your hosted URL. The files are public and we do not control who reads them. Do not publish pages you want to keep private.
The service, its design and its code belong to us. We do not claim ownership of your content or of the files generated for you.
AI-generated text
With AI enhancement on, descriptions and section names are written by an AI model and may be wrong or incomplete. Check your generated file before relying on it. We cannot guarantee that any AI assistant will read, follow or cite your files, or how your site will appear in AI answers.
Availability
We aim to keep Botlight running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We depend on Webflow and other providers, so syncs can be delayed or fail. If a sync fails, your previous file stays online.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Botlight and delete your sites at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the service; if we end a paid plan without cause, we will refund the unused part of the period.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or loss of traffic or ranking, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. The service is provided "as is".
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and give you notice by email. Continuing to use Botlight after a change means you accept it.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer rules in your country say otherwise. Questions: abishek.abi07@gmail.com.
